SEC Power Rankings Week 7

Well another week of games can only mean that we have another shift in the SEC Power Rankings.  This week we have a new #1 but they are not new to the spot.  Here are this week’s rankings.

#1 LSU The Tigers continue to impress and I guess beating Florida like they stole something is reason enough for them to jump back to the #1 spot.  This team is not showing much weakness and apparently they are only going to be better with Jordan Jefferson at QB.  There coach however is still clueless and has no idea how to find the next game.  The talent at LSU is insane and they win in spite of their idiot coach.  When miles was asked at halftime about his team’s performance against Florida Saturday he sounded like he was sending some code message by spitting out one fragment after another.  LSU boosters better make sure they keep Kragthorpe and Chavis happy.
#2 Alabama The only thing they did wrong this weekend was play Vanderbilt.  Although Vandy is a much improved team nobody except Alabama fans watched the game.  Bama apparently only has one weakness and that is their kicking game.  Will it be enough to get them beat?  Maybe but they could win this weekend if they never kicked the ball when they play Ole Mess.  The Alabama faithful are gearing up for their showdown against LSU.  It has become the most talked about game outside of the Iron bowl in state history.  Looks like the Tide will have no problem holding up their end of the deal and will easily be undefeated on November 5th.
#3 Arkansas The Razorbacks are for real folks.  Unfortunately for them they are still only 3rd in their division.  Timing is everything and this is not the year to be good in the West.  Either you are great or you are in the forgotten ranks and that is where Arkansas has found themselves.  They may only have one challenge before they play LSU, but it looks like they are a Capital One or Cotton Bowl at best team because of their dvision.
#4 Auburn The other Tigers may not hold this spot long.  They are in a must win situation this weekend when they play Florida if they want to manage to finish in a warm Bowl spot.  The Tigers just played the better team last week, but now they should have a chance to get back on their feet when they play and bruised and beaten Florida team.  The Tigers now have learned they can lose and I expect them to do so again next week when they play LSU.  However you have to agree that this team has been beaten so far by two good teams.
#5 UGA The Bulldogs may be in 5th place but they are in the driver seat to win the East.  Anne Murray led his team to victory Saturday night by playing smart and not beating themselves by throwing balls up for grabs.  Mark Richt now has a chance to add another year to his tenure if they can just ride the storm out and win these reaming games.  I can’t help but to believe they are going to blow it against Florida.  They have not beat Florida in 432 years.
#6 South Carolina Well I guess Connor Shaw could now be elected Mayor of Columbia after destroying the mighty and powerful defense of Kentucky.  SC fans feel good about their offense now after the firework show from Saturday’s game, but it is all smoke and mirrors.  This team has some serious issues.  Fortunately for them they play in a bad division and they are still in contention even though their offense is offensive.
#7 Mississippi State Yep the Bulldogs have moved up this week after their impressive win against a terrible UAB team.  Why are they so highly ranked? (It is funny when you are ranked 7th out of 12 and that is considered highly ranked) They move up because the QB situation at Florida.  The Bulldogs are a bad team.  As a matter of fact the rest of the teams on this list are bad and it is the very reason non-SEC fans say the conference is overrated.
#8 Florida I think the Gators are a better team than what we have seen.  Keep in mind they just played the best two teams in the country, but without Brantley this team sucks, and it is exactly what ever Florida fan deserves.  Will Muschamp is a buffoon.  He looks like his head is going to explode.  He is so annoying that it is hard to even watch a Florida game at this time.  Not really though I love to see them lose and I think they have more losing to do.  This Florida team is average at best with Brantley but without him they are terrible.
#9 Vanderbilt The Commodores have shown some ability get the #9 spot simply because they have been more impressive then the remaining teams.  Look folks, this pains me, but they beat Ole Miss, UT has yet to win an SEC game and UK is the worst team in America.  Vandy is bad but they are not as bad as the rest of the teams.
#10 Tennessee Where do I begin?  Without Tyler Bray this team is 10th at best.  They can’t run, pass, cover the pass, get a pass rush, and they can’t kick.  Besides that they are a really good team.  Dooley has yet to show he can rally this team.  The whole program right now looks like a group who expects to lose.  As soon as they face adversity they fold.
#11 Ole Mess The Rebels are not Kentucky.
#12Kentucky The Worst team in America.
