Is there any justice in this world? A question Vol fans could only ask as they walked out of the stadium Saturday night after watching UGA take the life out of a football program that has been on life support for what seems like 40 years. As if it were not bad enough to lose the game, we lost one of the few bright spots in our program when Tyler Bray broke his thumb. What's next? Well, the only thing that could be worse is if we lose to Kentucky, but we all know that will never happen. However, it does seem that when you think we can only go up, something else happens to deflate any breathe at all in us.
To make matters worse, it is not just the Tennessee football team that is suffering. It is everything to do with the University athletics program.
Health issues alone:
Peyton Manning: Neck
Eric Berry: Knee
Justin Hunter: Knee
Jerod Mayo: Knee
Tyler Bray: Thumb
Herman Lathers: Who knows
Chad Clifton: Knee

So how much worse can it get? Really think about it. We have nothing else to lose. With that thought in mind, I want to ask you this question.
If there is any justice in this world then…………..
Here is a list of some of my thoughts, so please feel free to leave your comments.
- We will somehow rally together this weekend and upset #1 LSU, tear down the goal post, and throw the CBS cameras in the Tennessee River again.
- Oct 22, 2011: Tennessee 21, Alabama 20. We beat the #1 team in the nation two weeks in a row.
- Florida will lose the rest of their games and Will Muschamp will be locked in a rubber room where he belongs.
- Nick Saban falls in love with some 18 year old girl and throws his career and everything else away. They move to New Zealand.
- John Calipari is brought to justice by the NCAA for being the cheating thug that he is, Kentucky is stripped of all wins since Calipari took over, and they receive the death penalty. Also, Kentucky can no longer associate with Nike and they get a contract with Converse.
- Cuonzo Martin takes Tennessee to the final four in his first year.
- Chris Lofton gets to play in the NBA and leads the league in 3pt shooting.
- Nick Reviez makes a NFL Roster.
- Tobias Harris gets rookie of the year in the NBA.
- Tennessee football 2012 class ranked in the top 5.
- Tyler Bray wins the 2012 Heisman Trophy.
- Lady Vols beat UConn in the Final Four and win the NCAA.
- Bruce Pearl takes Doc Rivers' place to coach the Boston Celtics.
- Mike Slive gets fired!
I could do this all day. Try a few, it is therapeutic.
Go Vols!

ReplyDeleteddurham,
ReplyDeleteIt’s all in fun! Don’t take yourself so seriously, and defiantly don’t take anything I say seriously! We love to have fan interaction. We want this site to be fun for everybody who visits the page. We here at RockyTopics are committed to smack talk and we invite others to do so through this site and via Twitter @RockyTopics.
RockyTopics is made up of a group of guys who have real jobs and family issues like everybody else. It is fun to have a site that in three weeks has had over 12K visits from nearly a dozen different countries, and all of this possible because of our absurd love for the University of Tennessee and SEC athletics.
As for your comment about us not carrying your jockstraps, well we will see next week. I have watched a lot of Bama and UT games and usually the lesser team plays the hardest.
In regards to your comment about my character, I think the Alabama preacher Paul Washer says it best. “In regards to the calling of presenting the Gospel we can only fail and will never succeed because God chose the fallible to present the infallible.”
I have often been told what I am “suppose” to be, but the only thing I have ever claimed to be is the “chief” of sinners and the “vilest” of the most wretched.
Go Vols
